CAFO stands for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation. In our February episode, we will be talking about a proposed CAFO in Peach Bottom Township. We will try to separate fact from fiction on this controversial topic and hear why there is opposition to it and why those in favor of the hog farm feel some residents concerns are overblown and that not allowing the CAFO will hurt farming in southern York County and the state.
